Tanner McNeill is the CEO of Aurelian Capital Partners, a real asset private equity company focused exclusively on bringing real estate capital and a real estate capital structure to the development and deployment of energy storage nationally. Prior to founding Aurelian Capital Partners, Tanner spent 11 years at Eastdil Secured, the world’s largest real estate investment bank. While at Eastdil, Tanner founded the firm’s Renewable Infrastructure group, working with solar, storage and RNG developers to capitalize developments across the risk spectrum from pre-NTP greenfield projects to post NTP investments. Since 2020, Tanner published a macro-capital markets report on behalf of the firm, sent weekly to Eastdil’s global client base. Throughout his career at Eastdil Secured, Tanner executed over $25 billion of deal activity in the debt, equity and structured equity markets. Tanner now uses his extensive institutional real estate capital relationship base to invest directly, alongside his capital partners, into energy storage development opportunities.
