Ben Leary is a Technical Asset Manager at Convergent Energy and Power, an owner-operator of battery and solar-plus-storage assets. He established the TAM function and drives cross-functional process improvements as Convergent scales from 100MW/300MWh toward 800MW/1GWh and over $1B of assets under operation and development. Ben also coordinates dispatch operations across 5 RTOs and leads operational commissioning of new projects. Prior to Convergent, he modeled renewable energy projects at Wood Mackenzie and served six years in the US Navy as a submarine nuclear reactor operator. He holds a BA in International Relations and Gender Studies from Williams College.
