Jose Gomez del Campo is Director of Project Finance at OCI Energy, where he leads project financing efforts for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects, primarily focused on the ERCOT market. He brings more than a decade of experience across renewable energy, banking, and private credit.
Recently, he has led the structuring and execution of approximately $700 million in senior secured credit facilities across OCI Energy’s solar and battery storage portfolio, including construction debt, term debt, and letter of credit facilities.
His recent work includes financing for Alamo City ESS, a 120 MW / 480 MWh battery energy storage project; SunRoper Solar, a 260 MWac utility-scale solar project; and a $50 million letter of credit facility.
Jose focuses on capital formation, lender diligence, project bankability, and offtake-driven financing structures for renewable energy infrastructure.
